’m considering adding: A student list so Facilitators can keep track of everyone in their group A messaging or email page for sending updates or reminders A meeting schedule page with quick “canceled” or “rescheduled” options If you’re a Facilitator — or part of a study group — I’d love to hear whether these tools would be helpful. Your feedback will shape what gets built next. MyACIMJ.com

I decided I needed to add a story from my own background. I am a practicing Tibetan Buddhist, Kagyu lineage. Anyway, I started studying and specifically meditating like 30+ years ago. Around 20 years ago, I fell off a ladder and broke my leg. I can walk, but I do have trouble getting up and down off the floor. No way, when it was fresh, could I do my meditation practice. I kind of went round and round. Am I still a Buddhist since I'm not meditating? I had been to weekend retreats, had a group for several years I meditated with, now no meditation. Don't know how I woke up, but suddenly I thought, why can't I sit in a chair? Sure, I'm not being ver Zen like with that, but really, what is the difference? So from that day forward, I sit in a chair and meditate. Now what is the moral of this story? Kind of like the ad, just do it. Wake up every day and dedicate yourself to being a better person than yesterday, and meditate. Far as I'm concerned, As far that is the essence of any spiritual practice: Just do it!

Another word from your programmer! I recently made a couple of changes to the website. I fixed it so that if you create a login account, you're automatically taken to the onboarding pages. The app needs that so it knows where you are in the Course, and a few incidentals, like your zip code, which I hope to add down the road. I also added the Public Journal. When putting in your journal entries, if you want to share it with others, click a checkbox, and it will be available for all to see. I would like to develop a tool for teachers. A page where you can add a list of students, and then it will email or text them to let them know you are on myacimj.com and recommend they join too. I also want to have a way to click, and in the background, the app will find all the users within, say, 50 miles of your zip code. Again, contact them to join you with a group to study the ACIM?

This is a note from the Programmer of myacimj.com. I have been working for a while lately on making thins work just a little better. The Blog page was not showing the blogs when it opened. So I worked to make sure it just appears, on the web or on your phone. I was having some trouble with a person creating a logon, but never really finishing the Onboarding. Now, as soon as you log on the first time it will direct you automatically to the Onboarding page. Also the app sends a welcome email to users and a little nudge if they abandoned the Onboarding with out completing it. Finally, trying several things to spread the word about this app. This is an app that will handle a tone of users. Myacimj is built on a solid backend that can handle thousands of transaction a minute. Also I wanted it simple, not nagging you all the time, not with graphics, just what you need to keep on task. Anyway hope you enjoy it and happy studdying!
